| Roses in a Box |

This box arrangement
features pink roses, tiny pink spider orchids and green
leather fern.
You will need:
- 11 roses. Other suitable flowers are tulips and sim
carnations.
- 6 spider orchid sprays. Other suitable flowers are
nerines and alstroemeria.
- Leather fern
- 1 small box
- 1 flat no. 5 plastic bowl
- Foam
- 1 metre organza ribbon
- ¾ metre of cord
- 22 gauge wire x 23cm (9") long

Instructions:
- Soak foam and place in flat plastic bowl.
- Fill box ¾ of the way with crumpled newspaper and place the
bowl on top of the paper and secure in place by criss crossing
two pieces of narrow plastic pot tape over the top of the foam
and down on the sides of the box for 2.5cm (1").
- Cut the stem of the smallest rose bud to the desired length
and place it in the top left hand corner of the foam.
- Take the next bud and cut it to the desired length and place
it slightly lower to the left of the other rose as shown in
the diagram.
- Place the four largest roses in a zig zag pattern down the
centre front, having each one extending slightly further than
the previous one.
- Place the five buds evenly around the sides of the arrangement
as shown in the diagram.
- Place fern around the edges of the arrangement extending it
out slightly further than the roses.Fill in the centre of the
arrangement with fern.
- Make a four loop bow with the organza ribbon, wire on double
legs 22 gauge wire x 23cm (9") long and insert into the
centre front of the box.
- Make a two loop bow with the cord leaving two long ends.
Wire on double legs with 22 gauge wire x 23cm (9") long.
Tie a knot at each end of the cord and insert into the centre
front of the box.
- Spray with water.
