Lipbalms (vegan or regular)
Age group - all
Mess factor - medium (things to wash up afterwards)
Difficulty - easy
Danger - medium (requires supervision when using heat souce and pouring)
Requirements - stove or microwave; heat proof jug that you can pour from; scales; fork

You will need:

Regular Lipbalm
12g beeswax
12g shea butter
12g cocoa butter
12g sweet almond oil

Vegan
8g macwax
8g shea butter
8g cocoa butter
26g sweet almond oil
Instructions
1. Place the wax and butters in a heat proof jug and melt them together. The easiest way is to microwave them for 1 minute then wrap the jug in two tea towels and let it sit to melt. You could also place the jug in a double boiler but ensure that no water gets into the jug.

2. Once melted, add the oil and heat gently to remelt all of the waxes/butters. Remove from heat and add 20 drops of essential oil. Stir to incorporate.

3. Half fill the container and wait until it sets (goes opaque) but is still warm. Completely fill the container and leave to cool completely before putting the cap on. If you do it this way you won't get a depression in the middle of the container.

4. Label and enjoy!
