Bushman's Hat

Rubber Stamps Used:

  • Bushman's Hat (Annaleey Crafts 330L)
  • Happy Birthday (Annaleey Crafts 400S)

Instructions
Dot piece of card with brown liquid applique. Spread liquid applique very thinly with a brayer (add a couple of more dots if not enough to cover card) Heat gently to give a "Suede" finish. Stamp 'Bushman's Hat' onto liquid appliqued card with black ink. Cut out.

Background Paper
Cover piece of black card by "swirling" with three colours of pigment ink using direct to paper technique. (use pads directly onto paper) It is recommended that one of the three colours be a metallic ink. Tap very fine drops of 3 colours of Pearl-ex pigment powder over inked card. Brush powder in with a soft brush.(make-up brush) It is better to add more powder if not enough than to put much on in the first place. "Fix" powder with spray fixative or hair spray. Leave to dry.

Stamp 'Happy Birthday" randomly onto background paper. Stick background paper onto card and stick hat over the top.

Brush Bell

Rubber Stamps Used:

  • Brush Bell (Annaleey Crafts 340L)

Instructions
Ink 'Brush Bell' stamp with gold pigment ink and set aside. Use a cranberry pigment ink pad directly onto a piece of card to cover itwith colour. Apply clear embossing powder (Ultra thick or Utee can also be used). Heat powder to melt, add another layer of clear powder and heat, add another layer of

clear powder with some springles of another powder (we used Galaxy). Heat again. Whilst the powder is still hot and soft stamp the pre-ink stamp onto the card. Mount onto gold backing then onto card.
