Dargate Indigo by Windham Fabrics

From the host of reproduction designs by Windham Fabrics comes Dargate Indigo. The designs by Margo Krager date back to circa 1830 and are part of the Dargate fabric sample book which was obtained from an estate sale at the Dargate Auction House in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1997.

The ledger-style book contains 330 rag-paper pages and had been kept in a slipcase and away from light for about 80 years. The book contains about 1750 fabric swatches of French dressgoods from the 1830s.

The polychrome indigo prints are stunning, sophisticated and timeless. Both modern geometric shapes and stylised organic designs in a host of vibrant colours and exquisitely portrayed on a backdrop of dramatic indigo.

The 100 per cent cotton fabric would make a breathtaking quilt to suit almost any décor.

This Dargate Indigo range of fabrics is distributed in Australia by Radda Fabrics. For stockists or more information, call (02) 9559 3088 or email sales@raddafabrics.com.au.
