Astonishing Crafts & Art

Buderim, September 2004.
Let me begin by introducing myself. My name is Eveline Janssen, for many years I have been creatively active making jewellery, paper napkin and roof tile decorations, fresh and dried flower arrangements, and many other variations of decorative crafts and arts.

It was in 2001 when I was introduced to Powertex. This unique crafts material immediately caught my attention, as I had never experienced something like this before. To create a sculpture / statue out of an old T-shirt was just Astonishing.

After attending several classes and attaining “train-the-trainer” certificates from the manufacture I started giving classes. Since 2001 I have made many students enthusiastic to work with Powertex and wish to continue this now living in Australia.

The great advantage of Powertex is that the application possibilities are endless and that the final creation can be used in- or outdoors. You can create the most Astonishing home decorations for your self or that unique self-made gift you always wanted to make for a special person.

Powertex Textile Hardener is not limited to making sculptures or statues. It is a very versatile product that allows you to preserve your memorabile treasures for life, some examples are your baby’s first clothes and/or shoes, Teddy bears, etc, etc.

The most satisfying of giving classes is that the students and their family are Astonished by the final results. Many students did not realize that they could be so creative and therefore surprise themselves with the making of a sculpture / statue that decorates their home or garden.

Astonishing Crafts & Art is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and craft oriented persons who are interested giving hands-on-workshops in their own region.

For more information about Powertex, hands-on-workshops and to see examples of what can be made with Powertex and Powertex Stone Art, please visit our website at www.astonishing.com.au
